Warning: once you eat here, you might just fall in love with dosa and idli forever! 😍 The dosa is so crispy it makes the most satisfying crunch with every bite, and the idli is so soft you’ll wonder if clouds have competition. The sambhar is a warm hug in a bowl – spicy, tangy, and totally addictive – and those chutneys? Pure magic.

I don’t know why there are so many 1 star reviews in past 2-3 days. Seems targeted as I had a very pleasant experience during lunch today.
The chef seems to understands South Indian cuisine. They're happy to explain different varieties of dosas and regional specialties. Quick service, and they ensure the food arrives hot at your table. I was happy that they weren’t cheap about basic things and provided unlimited sambar and chutney refills as my kids and I troubled them for it 7-8 times. They served us very promptly and with a smile throughout!
Definitely coming back when we need good south indian near our home again.

Filter coffee: It was fab 🤩
Benne masala dosa (butter masala dosa): It was tooo yummmm 😛
Thatte idli: best 😍
Rava onion masala dosa: so crispy and flavourful 😃
Upma: so fresh, delicious & melt-in-the-mouth 😋
Everything was sooooooo godddddd! We just lovedddddd ittttt! We highly recommend this place. South Indian at this place is just amazinggggggg 😍😍❤️❤️

I was waiting for a long time for a good South Indian restaurant in indirapuram. Finally my wait is over. We got Vedantam.
I love Vedantam food. Here you will get an authentic flavour.
You can try everything one by one.
Your tummy can stop you from eating but your heart will say "ye dil mange more".
You have to go to the counter for order.
Because of self service you have to wait for your number.
The number will display on the screen then you can pick your food.
Because of heavy demand, you have to wait for 15-20 minutes.

Tried the thattu podi idli and lemon idli mini – both were absolutely delicious, easily a 5/5 on taste and also filter hot coffee was strong enough. The flavors were authentic and comforting. The atmosphere and vibe of the place were decent and pleasant enough. There is self Service and service is very fast. Overall, a good spot for South Indian food lovers, especially if you’re there mainly for the food. There is a bit of parking issue infront of resturant but there is a free parking area nearby.

Being from Bangalore I didn't find the food vow however those accompanying me liked the food. I had to wait 5 minutes to get a coffee, when I talked to the bearded staff about the high wait time, his tone and attitude was condescending. Learn a bit about customer service man, grow up, apologize and move on, don't (never) contend a customer. Will try Vedam Sarjapur some day.
Self service, no regulation at parking so you are on your own.

I recently visited Vedantam Restaurant, and I had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious! The menu is great, and everything we tried was cooked to perfection.

Looking for a South Indian place....this one is for you then. The food was delicious and even creative. I have had South Indian food at many places but this one stands out. The menu has limited options but a few things I have never seen anywhere else. I believe Sambhar has to be good if you are running a South Indian restaurant...and they nailed it😍

Absolutely loved Vedantam Cafe in Indirapuram! The food is delicious, especially the South Indian options like podi masala dosa and thatte idli. Probably the only place in Indirapuram serving authentic South Indian food.
The cheese masala dosa and pudi thatte idli are absolute must-tries—full of flavor and prepared just right. The service is impressively quick, and the overall experience is satisfying.
The only downside is the presence of mosquitoes, which can be a bit distracting while dining. If they manage to sort that out, this place would easily be a 10/10.

Ambiance offers us to see (only) the preparation of food behind live counter - unique in South Indian Restaurant. We relished the Authentic and sumptuous delicacies at Vedantam. I celebrated my birthday at Vedantam and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the staff was very courteous and attentive. Special mention to Gaurav for his excellent service, and compliments to the chef for preparing such tasty dishes. The food is really nice, tried Thatte Idli, Rava masala Dosa, vada, these were really good.
Tamarind rice (we were warned that it will be served cold, but seemed a hit raw as well) and lemon rice (not full of flavours) were not that good.
But Dosa, Idli, Vada covers for it.
Coconut kheer was also very nice.

Let me start with appreciating the food. Actually Very Good food. It was my second visit, and this time with family. Had to wait for 45 mins to get the table. This defines the craze for Vedantam. I have recently visited to this restaurant with one of my friends and too my surprise this place turned out to be really amazing among other things their filter coffee is worth the try and that made me visit them again and again. I went there for breakfast today. I liked the cleanliness of the place, including the kitchen which was visible from the seating area. The idea to keep the menu simple always appeals to me.
